Marjorie Muller is the newest member of the Maple Creek Family of Artisans. Marjorie is a watercolor artist who has relocated to our area after having a gallery in the Gatlinburg area for several years. She is a graduate of Morehead State University in Kentucky. Marjorie and a group of her Sigma Sigma Sigma sisters from Morehead have established the "Sisters Still Strong Foundation". The foundation was created to aid one of her soroity sisters who has a son with a catastrophic illness. The foundation now helps other families in similar situations. Marjorie, through inspiration from the strong sisterhood existing at Morehead State and the beauty of the Appalachain Mountains, created a beautiful watercolor of a scene from Newfound Gap Road in the Great Smokey Mountains. Each print is signed and bears the motto "Still Standing Strong". Proceeds from the sales of these prints go to help families struggling with chronic and overwhelming diseases."
